Hi, my name is Chris, (The handsome chap in the blue suit and the one responsible for the least imaginative business name on record!) and I have been a photographer since 2010. Initially I was drawn to photography to capture the natural world as I am fascinated by it. I love being out in the great outdoors and being raised in Cornwall was a great place to do so.
It was my own wedding day in 2016 and the birth of my beautiful daughter Isla the following year, that inspired me into taking pictures of people and then into capturing their Weddings and Families. I love being able to share other peoples’ life changing events and telling their stories, capturing their emotions but also the missed moments. I really believe that photographs are so powerful in telling story’s and preserving memories’ in time. A wedding album is not just a collection of images, it is an heirloom for future generations of your family. I want my pictures to stand the test of time and to take people back to how they felt at that exact second. I also know how important it is to really click with your photographer, given the once in a lifetime nature of your big day. It is my aim to put my couples at ease and to really help them to just forget about the camera so that I can document them and their day as authentically as possible.
Away from photography, I love being outside. I still enjoy trying to find local wildlife to photograph, but with two daughters under 6, the wildlife has usually long since dispersed! I love to kayak, fish and being out on my road bike, indeed I have one of the best garage based hobby museums in Cornwall (all the dads with young kids will understand!). But most of all I love spending time with my family and bringing up my daughters, taking them on adventures and watching them light up at the wonder of it all! :)
